The client

Industrial Power Supply Manufacturer is scaling its power electronics team and has engaged PER International exclusively for this search.

The role offers strong technical ownership, modern lab facilities and a clear path to senior or principal-level responsibility.

The role

You will join a focused engineering group working on live programmes across power electronics. This is a hands-on role with direct influence on architecture, delivery and team standards.

You will:

Lead technical delivery on smps design engineer programmes
Work with cross-functional hardware, firmware and systems teams
Support design reviews, validation and release to production
Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering best practice

Your background

Relevant degree in electrical, electronic or software engineering
Proven experience in a comparable role within the sector
Strong communication skills and comfort working with senior stakeholders
Eligible to work in the listed location or region

Salary: $120000 – $145000
Location: Rochester, New York
Start date: Flexible — ideally Q2 2026
